Neutral or First, Should we have a vote?

Well, now I have two opposing opinions, both with sound reasoning to back them up. Keep it in first, and you are ready to go if trouble comes your way. Get it into neutral, and then you won't pop into the intersection unexpectedly.

Resting my hand seems to be a good reason to me for going into neutral. I have two bad fingers on my left hand, the pinkie and fourth, due to a bad break some years ago. (This disability affects my golf swing too!) I guess I will just have to keep a look out going, try not to daydream, and be ready to pop into gear if I see something coming my way.

Thanks for your help guys! Any other suggestions are welcome. I also learned that the Savage clutch is wet and a car clutch is dry, something I never knew (or even thought about) before.
